Creating a Google Analytics Account
Step 1: Sign Up
- Go to analytics.google.com
- Sign in with Google account
- Click Start measuring
Step 2: Create Property
- Enter property name (your website)
- Select time zone
- Select currency
- Click Next
Step 3: Business Details
- Industry category
- Business size
- How you intend to use Analytics
- Click Create
Step 4: Data Stream
- Choose Web
- Enter website URL
- Enter stream name
- Click Create stream
Getting Your Tracking Code
Measurement ID
- Go to Admin (gear icon)
- Click Data Streams
- Select your stream
- Copy Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX)
Full Tracking Code
If needed:
- In Data Stream settings
- Click View tag instructions
- Select Install manually
- Copy the code
Adding Analytics to Sitebuilder
Method 1: Measurement ID
- Open Sitebuilder
- Go to Settings > Analytics or Integrations
- Find Google Analytics section
- Paste your Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX)
- Save changes
Method 2: Header Code
- Go to Settings > Custom Code
- Find Header section
- Paste tracking code
- Save changes
Verifying Installation

- Visit your website in new tab
- You should see yourself as active user
