Edit messages after sending

Made a typo? You can now edit messages after sending:

1. Press and hold the message
2. Tap the three dots or "Edit"
3. Make your changes
4. Tap the checkmark to save

Note: You can only edit messages within 15 minutes of sending.

Delete messages for everyone

Sent a message to the wrong person? Delete it for everyone:

1. Press and hold the message
2. Tap the trash icon
3. Choose "Delete for everyone"

The message disappears for everyone, replaced by "This message was deleted".

Privacy settings

Hide your "last seen"

1. Settings > Privacy > Last seen
2. Choose who can see it: Everyone, My contacts, or Nobody

Hide read receipts

1. Settings > Privacy
2. Turn off "Read receipts"

Block unknown callers

1. Settings > Privacy > Calls
2. Turn on "Silence unknown callers"

Send disappearing messages

Messages that automatically delete after a period:

1. Open a chat
2. Tap the contact name
3. Tap "Disappearing messages"
4. Choose a time period (24 hours, 7 days, 90 days)

Pin important chats

Keep important chats at the top:

1. Swipe right on the chat (iPhone) or press and hold (Android)
2. Tap the pin icon

Send HD photos and videos

1. Open a chat and tap the paperclip/plus icon
2. Select Photo/Video
3. Choose your image
4. Tap "HD" at the top before sending
