Na de installatie van Magento 2 moet je enkele belangrijke instellingen configureren. In dit artikel doorlopen we de basis configuratie.

Inloggen op Admin Panel

1. Ga naar https://jouwdomein.nl/admin
2. Log in met je admin gegevens
3. Voltooi eventuele beveiligingsvragen

Essentiële instellingen

Winkelgegevens

Stores > Configuration > General > General

• Store Name: Naam van je webshop
• Store Phone Number: Telefoonnummer
• Country: Je land (Nederland)
• Timezone: Europe/Amsterdam

E-mail configuratie

Stores > Configuration > General > Store Email Addresses

Stel e-mailadressen in voor:

• General Contact
• Sales Representative
• Customer Support

Valuta

Stores > Configuration > General > Currency Setup

• Default Currency: Euro (EUR)
• Allowed Currencies: Selecteer beschikbare valuta's

BTW instellingen

Stores > Configuration > Sales > Tax

Voor Nederlandse webshops:

1. Maak belastingregels aan voor 21% en 9% BTW
2. Configureer BTW-weergave (incl. of excl.)

Veiligheid

Admin URL wijzigen

Het is veiliger om /admin te wijzigen:

1. Bewerk app/etc/env.php
2. Wijzig de frontName onder backend

Two-Factor Authentication

Magento 2.4+ heeft standaard 2FA. Configureer dit via: Stores > Configuration > Security > 2FA

Eerste producten toevoegen

1. Ga naar Catalog > Products
2. Klik op Add Product
3. Kies producttype (Simple, Configurable, etc.)
4. Vul productgegevens in
5. Klik op Save

Cache legen

Na configuratiewijzigingen:

php bin/[magento cache](https://support.theory7.net/hc/nl/articles/1293-magento-caching-en-performance-optimalisatie):flush

Of via Admin: System > Cache Management
