Delete apps on iPhone

Method 1: From home screen

  1. Press and hold the app icon
  2. Tap Remove App
  3. Tap Delete App to confirm

Method 2: Via Settings

  1. Go to SettingsGeneraliPhone Storage
  2. Wait for the list to load
  3. Tap an app you want to delete
  4. Tap Delete App

Tip: "Offload App" removes the app but keeps its data for later.

Delete apps on Android

Method 1: From home screen

  1. Press and hold the app icon
  2. Drag to Uninstall or tap the X
  3. Confirm

Method 2: Via Settings

  1. Go to SettingsApps
  2. Tap the app
  3. Tap Uninstall

Free up more space

  • Delete old photos and videos (or move to cloud)
  • Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → App → Clear Cache)
  • Remove downloaded music/podcasts/movies
  • Delete old messages with attachments
  • Clear browser data
